Background
After completing a cadet accountantship with Evans Deakin Ltd my final role was Internal Auditor. I then progressed through the roles of Office Manager, Branch Administration Manager to the National Distribution Manager of Ramsay Surgical / CIG Medishield. The next 20 years was with Simpson/Email Appliances Ltd in various State & National roles encompassing Sales/Marketing, Project Manager, Branch Management and Training. Additionally I assisted my wife with the marketing, accounting and management side of her Hair and Beauty Salon for 7 years.
After a Heart Attack, due to the stresses of both a Corporate Career and helping run a SME I reassessed my lifestyle and then resigned from my corporate position to focus on my health and family. From this experience I then realised the lack of awareness of health risks in the workplace plus the productivity gains that wellness programmes brings to the businesses profits.
My life long passion has been to mentor people to achieve their full potential in the workplace and combined with my new found desire to improve their wellbeing, has motivate me to inform the business community on the benefits that wellness programmes can improve the quality of life of the workforce, plus increase the bottom line profit of their business.
